Living Magazine Christmas Edition

Over the weekend we received an exciting text message with a picture of the Christmas edition of Forney Living. And there it was right on the cover "Forney residents Bram and Jill's journey to adopt".

We wrote about our interview with Michelle Wallace in the post Living Magazine. She informed us then that she felt that our story needed to be shared with a broader audience. Instead of publishing her article in Forney Living in October she decided to wait until the Christmas issue to share our journey with multiple communities.

This has been an absolute blessing to us. We want to thank everyone involved for making this possible. Though our story is unique to us there are thousands of hopeful families who are patiently waiting for their miracle from God. We still have a long road ahead of us, but we have come so far in the 4 months since making our announcement.  Like the majority of adoptive families we have had to rely on fundraising and charitable giving to fund our adoption. Hopefully knowing this will encourage the families that have an eagerness to adopt, but have reservations due to the cost, to step forward and let God guide them down the path of finding their baby born from their hearts. It has blown us away who He has used to help us raise nearly half of our expenses in only four months. He has used family members donating thousands of dollars, but He has also used high school students contributing a few dollars. Both contributions melt our hearts and both bring us closer to finding our first child.
