Meet Baby Lincoln

The time is finally here for you to meet the answer to our prayers. Thank you all for your patience, and for respecting our privacy during the most terrifying and exciting month of our lives. Though there were many times over the last 32 days that we struggled to keep our strength in knowing that this precious miracle would make it home; God gave us this month for a reason. We were able to grow our relationship with our beautiful birth mother Maycee and her precious daughter Bella. We developed a love for them that was completely unexpected. When we started our adoption journey nearly 2 years ago, we only hoped to meet the newest member of our family. We had no idea that we would not only be welcoming him as a Johnson, but we would also welcome an amazing birth family as well. As we all adjust to the new life of baby Lincoln we are adjusting to not being able to see Maycee and Bella as much after we grew such an amazing love for them.

After making it home, he fit right in and made his forever place in our lives. He is the miracle that we have been waiting on for the last 5 years. We love him more than we could ever explain. We will never know what we did to deserve being chosen by God for this amazing experience. He has made us mommy and daddy, and has proven to us that the greatest things in life are always worth the wait!
